Like all good business start-ups, Roberts and Barnes was born out of necessity.
 
With the challenging economic and social climate of 2020, there seemed to be a growing need for a more robust, adaptable and cost-effective recruitment business to support employers in such uncertain times.

With over 30 years' combined experience in the recruitment market, our two founding Directors felt they could offer so much more working independently, while reducing their overheads and passing these reduced costs onto the customer at the same time.

Based out of our offices in Stourbridge and Worcester, we strive to offer a totally personable and consultative approach to each collaboration we take on, with the ability to cover the whole of the West Midlands.

Director

James started his career straight out of University working for a regional engineering recruitment firm, before opening and running his first branch 2 years later. 

Fast forward over 20 years and James has gained a vast amount of experience ranging from International IT recruitment to executive search and selection. Returning to his roots in 2019, James has focused his attention across the West Midlands hiring for both SME and blue-chip companies.  

From his extensive experience, James is confident in approaching clients and candidates at all levels.
